Meet MarkBBehSc, BPsySc (Hons), Dip. Prof. Couns. Registered Psychologist.History, philosophy and guiding principles:As a psychologist, I take a mindful, compassionate, and ethical approach to supporting others. I understand that each person’s experience is shaped by their unique life journey, challenges, and perspectives. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard and understood. I listen with empathy, helping individuals explore their thoughts and emotions with openness and self-compassion. I recognise that suffering can be a natural part of life, but I also believe it can be an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. Through mindfulness-based therapy, I support clients in developing resilience, clarity, and a deeper connection with themselves. My approach is person-centred, drawing on psychological research and practical strategies to foster meaningful and lasting change. I have a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, a Postgraduate Honours Degree in Psychology, and a Diploma of Counselling. I’m accredited in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Alongside my clinical work, I’ve also contributed to the field through peer-reviewed research on mindfulness and its impact on mental health. | ![]() |
